ICE’s Smooth Move into Wansbeck

A national marketing company that employs more than 50 people across the country has chosen Wansbeck as its new North East base.

Neil Foster, North East Business Development Director for ICE was aware of the Go Wansbeck initiative through the high profile local media campaign and the recent award for being the most entrepreneurial place in the North East. Neil contacted Luke Dunnett, Commercial Premises Co-ordinator with the Wansbeck Business Forum for help and advice on finding suitable premises in the area.
“I called Luke on Monday morning and by 5pm that evening, we had seen 3 properties and I had identified the ideal office space. What might have otherwise taken me a lot of time and effort, took a matter of hours” explains Neil. “I am very grateful to Luke and Go Wansbeck for sharing his knowledge and expertise and I am looking forward to developing our base in the North East from the Wansbeck Business Centre in Ashington.”

ICE which specialises in social and strategic marketing and is headquartered in Merseyside is looking to expand its growing client base in the area which already included work in Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington and Durham.
“Social marketing is where our expertise lies and is best described as the use of marketing to achieve specific goals for a social good”, explains Neil “for example we have worked with the NHS to develop services and campaigns which tackle issues such as childhood obesity, reducing the stigma of mental health and provide greater support for people wanting to stop smoking. By adopting methods of marketing traditionally used in the commercial world, we aim to reach specific groups within the community that may have barriers to obtaining health care information and services by taking into account their life experiences. We identify any barriers and issues that can get in the way and help overcome
these”.

ICE also conduct a range of intelligent marketing solutions aimed at engaging audiences from across a number of media platforms such as strategic campaigns, market research, copywriting, advertising, press releases and direct marketing.
