A growing local removals and storage company is the latest business to benefit from the advice and support of a dedicated Commercial Premises Co-ordinator.
Philip Punton owner of Ashington Removals & Storage has recently relocated to a 3,000 ft2 unit at the newly constructed Waterside Court complex at North Seaton Industrial Estate. “I’ve been in business now for over a year and demand was such that I was at the stage where I needed more space. I got in touch with Luke Dunnett of Go Wansbeck and he was able to tell me what was available in the area immediately.”

Now settled and having secured a lucrative contract with nationally renowned removals firm Pickfords, Phil, 33 of Ashington  is happy with how the business is going and his success has meant that he is now able to employ three staff and is providing work for two full time apprentices who he hopes to take on in the future. “I left the army a few years ago and it was at this point that I decided I wanted to go into business for myself. My uncle

used to work in the removals business when I was growing up so I was familiar with the business and started up Ashington Removals & Storage just over a year ago.”

As well as assistance from Luke Dunnett, Commercial Premises Co-ordinator, Phil has benefitted from the flexible fund loans and grants available through Go Wansbeck which have enabled him to him to set up and buy the essential tools and equipment needed to run his business successfully and effectively.
